Halley 2015

         I built a lego model of halley and wow doesn't it look the same....mmmmm

   A day out to the coast (creek 3) with some ice climbing and a few penguin spotting opportunities.

From Capetown to Antarctica 2014

The next stage of the journey

 Off one flight and directly onto another 5 hour flight to Halley on an un-pressurised Basler

.

Chile to Halley, Antartica

Flight from the UK to Brazil, onto Santiago (Chile) and finally arrive at Punta arenas where we get to sleep and eat for two days before our flight to Rothera (BAS penninsular base, Antarctica). The weather in Punta was warm and wet. Perfect conditions for a long run along the sea front before dinner.
